This is one of them at 95th Street (view looking west) and was built in the Colonial Revival style. Hop on the METRA in Beverly to the city and you’ll arrive at LaSalle Street Station. The current 95th Street METRA station dates to 1945. Commuters can get coffee from a local Beverly coffee shop located inside the 95th Street METRA. The 95th Street Station (formerly named “Longwood Station”) was designated a Chicago Landmark in 1995. 95th Street in Beverly Top Notch Beefburgers on 95th has been serving up burgers, fries, and shakes for decades. Did you know Chicago has a castle and it’s located in Beverly? Dubbed the “Irish Castle” the Givins Castle was built in 1896 as a residence and is now home to the Beverly Unitarian Church. Beverly Farmers Market The William and Jessie M. Adams House, a Prairie school style home The home is a Chicago Landmark built by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1900. Stop for a sweet treat at The Original Rainbow Cone, 92nd and Western, in Beverly. The Original Rainbow Cone has been in the neighborhood since 1926. A large Irish population settled in Beverly in the early 1900s. Beverly is home of Chicago’s South Side Irish Parade. “Quantum Me” is an art installation at 99th and Walden and has been called “The Beverly Bean”. Designed by Chicago-based artist Davis McCarty.
