Folks, it’s time for the Wintrust Business Lunch! We’re actually going to start this show with a movie recommendation. Have you seen The Big Short? Great film.  If you left that flick feeling a little confused, check out our interview with Michael Lewis. Michael wrote the book that served as the basis for the film. One of the topics in The Big Short was the role that the Federal Reserve played in the housing market crash of 2008. It kind of makes you wonder what the Fed’s been up to lately. Well,  personal finance expert Terry Savage joins us with the latest.

Next, social media guru Scott Kleinberg comes on the show to talk about Amazon’s new system that let’s you pay…with a selfie. Yup, it’s a whole new take on service with a smile! Scott also takes a look at Instagram’s new algorithm-based news feed.

WGN’s very own Michael Heidemann closes out this episode with an audio postcard from South by Southwest.

We’ll have all that and more on this episode of the Wintrust Business Lunch!
