Performer E. Faye Butler joins Steve Dale to speak on her portrayal of Civil and Women’s Rights Activist, Fannie Lou Hamer in the play “The Music and Life of Fannie Lou Hamer” playing at the Goodman Theatre. She emphasizes the trials Hamer had to face as well as the horrid deeds enacted upon her during the fight for equality.
