This Sunday marks our last show of 2016 and we’re doing it up in style.

At the top of the show, we’ll have our weekly spin through national politics, including the questions about potential Russian interference in the nation’s political system.

After that, we’ll feature the “Sounds of the Holidays” CD from a few years’ past by the University of Illinois Rip Chords and we have a special guest  in the studio to celebrate the holiday spirit.

Then, we’ll speak to my good friend and Tribune colleague Ray Long. Ray is part of the Tribune investigation team that found potential dangerous involving prescription drug interaction was not being discovered at area pharmacies.

And to wrap up the show, we’ll speak to Cory Jobe, the director of the Illinois Office of Tourism. Cory will be giving us some suggestions for places to visit during the holidays and reminding us how important tourism is to the state’s economy.

That’s our special show as we countdown the holiday season and the end of 2016.
