We’ve got a great way to ring in 2016 on Sunday’s show. First, we’ll take our weekly spin through the national political scene, including new campaign ads in Iowa and New Hampshire. After that, Amanda Vinicky from Illinois Public Radio (who will also help me co-host) joins the conversation as we look ahead to what may or may not happen with this budget-less Illinois government. Then, Robin Johnson, a political consultant, Monmouth College faculty member and talk show host gives us an update on how things look across the river from where he lives–where he can see Iowa. And last but not least, we’ll turn the discussion to presidential and state matters with state Sen. Matt Murphy, a Palatine Republican and a supporter of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign.
