New York based playwright Greg Kotis joins Justin to talk about his career, how he became involved in theater, his time at the University of Chicago, working with the Neo-Futurists and Cardiff Giant, what the Chicago theater scene was like in the early 90’s, moving to New York City, co-writing the Broadway smash “Urinetown,” how expectations have changed for his work after having success, making a transition from comedy to drama, presenting “The Wayward Bunny,” a new play at the Ignition Festival at Victory Gardens Theater and how it feels to be back in Chicago.
