Singer, songwriter, visual artist and filmmaker Adam Green joins Justin to talk about his second film, “Adam Green’s Aladdin,” which stars Macaulay Culkin, Natasha Lyonne, Alia Shawkat and several New York-based musicians and artists. Adam talks about his career, what inspired him to make the movie, what interested him about the story of Aladdin, updating the story for a modern time, the lessons he learned making the film, the challenges of writing the script and scoring the film, the independent New York art scene, executing his vision the way he wants to and being part of the highly-acclaimed anti-folk movement.
