When the pig markets went bad in the late ’90s, some farmers went bankrupt, but George Richardson and his brother of Spring Grove, Illinois, decided to try something different: a corn maze. And it worked. Last year’s 20th annual corn maze and other attractions like a zip line, carousel, and train, brought in over 100,000 visitors. This is their 21st annual corn maze, nearly 30 acres with over nine miles of trails.
