When Toyota started blitzing Twitter with ads for its new hydrogen-powered car, the Mirai, Steve Alexander thought to himself, “Wait… that’s the name of one of Chicago’s favorite sweet corn varieties.” That called for a progress report on when and where Mirai (the corn) will be available this summer, so he spoke with Jenny Kinney of Piscasaw Gardens in Harvard, Illinois.
