At the intersection of engineering and cattle production is Low Carbon Ranch. Founder Colin Beal just received USDA approval of his program that allows cattle producers to get their animals certified as Low Carbon Beef. Beal spoke with Steve Alexander about the benefits to cattle producers, packers and retailers, as well as consumers.
