Valerie Jarrett, Senior Adviser to President Obama, joined us this morning in advance of the President meeting with “14,000 public safety professionals” today at the McCormick Place. We have 5% of the world’s population, and 25% of the world’s prisoner, and Valerie Jarrett recognizes that we cannot continue trying to make a broken system work. None of what Steve or Valerie discuss in this podcast pertains to law-abiding gun owners. We are all simply trying to find a way to take reasonable steps to reduce the violence in Chicago and nationwide.
