NEW ORLEANS (AP)The Saints have scratched veteran receiver Jarvis Landry for Monday night’s game against Baltimore after he tried to return to practice this week from an ankle injury, while the Ravens have ruled out tight end Mark Andrews with knee and shoulder injuries.
Landry had been listed as questionable in the final injury report of the week, but now will miss his fifth straight game.
Andrews, who has led Baltimore in receiving this season with 42 catches for 488 yards and five touchdowns, had been listed as doubtful after sitting out practices on Thursday through Saturday.
The loss of Andrews comes the same week the Ravens learned receiver Rashod Bateman would opt for surgery on his injured foot, ending his season.
The Ravens have responded by activating veteran receiver DeSean Jackson for the first time this season.
Ravens linebacker Malik Harrison (foot), guard Patrick Mekari (back), cornerback Marcus Peters (quadricep, knee), and receiver WR Demarcus Robinson (groin), who all had been questionable to play on Saturday’s injury report, remained active for the game.
Running back Gus Edwards, who’d been doubtful with hamstring injury, was scratched, as were receiver Tylan Wallace, linebacker Josh Bynes, guard Ben Cleveland and linebacker David Ojabo.
Healthy scratches for New Orleans included tight end Nick Vannett and offensive lineman Wyatt Davis.
Cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who has an abdomen injury, and running back Mark Ingram, who hurt his knee last week, already had been ruled out.
