Les Melnyk, a spokesperson for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Cemetery Administration, said the garrison flag at Los Angeles National Cemetery was reported stolen sometime late Sunday or early Monday. Veterans Affairs police are investigating the theft of the flag, which measures 25 feet by 30 feet, Melnyk said. (AP Photo/Damian Dovarganes)

Iraq War veteran, and Lisa’s very first Facebook friend, Ryan Brazel, chats with her about Memorial Day and those who have given their lives while deployed. In addition, Brazel encourages listeners to help veterans that are suffering with PTSD and survivor’s guilt, either by means of a Not-for Profit organization or simply donating. Brazel then goes on to discuss his podcast, the Article XV Podcast, in which he talks to veterans about acclimating back to civilian life.
