On November 22, 1963, a young Orion Samuelson, in just his third year at WGN Radio, was hosting County Fair, the station’s noon-time program. Suddenly he was handed a news bulletin about shots being fired at the presidential motorcade in Dallas. That moment of breaking news would soon be confirmed to be one of the darkest moments in American history.
