Dave Hoekstra visits with Atlanta, IL native Bill Thomas, who talks about some of the quirky small-town happenings in Atlanta, including a 19-foot tall Paul Bunyon statue (with hot dog in hand), and his role as chairman of the steering committee for the Route 66: Road Ahead Initiative, which is striving to bring together Route 66 stakeholders from around the country in an effort to create a interstate base of support for the growth and renewal of the historic highway.
