Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan announced he is suspending his campaign for a 19th term as speaker yesterday. Kam Buckner, Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives from the 26th district, joined Jon Hansen, filling in for Bob Sirott, with the latest on filling the seat.
