Elgin church offers drive-through communion: ‘We think this is something that Jesus would have done’

To mark Holy Week, an Elgin church will be offering drive-through communion this Thursday. Pastors from First Congregational United Church of Christ will be in a tent in the church parking lot distributing communion to those who drive up. WGN Radio’s Kim Gordon talked with Senior Pastor, Dr. Paris Donehoo.

The church is located at 256 Chicago Street in Elgin. Drive-through communion will be available Thursday, March 24, 2016, from noon until 1:00 and then again from 5:00 until 6:00.
