The Milton House Museum, in Milton, WI offers a tour of a, preserved underground tunnel that was used by freedom seekers on their way to Canada as part of the Underground Railroad. The tunnel connects Milton House’s cellar with a cabin behind the inn. Originally the tunnel’s average height was only 42 inches. Milton House is the only authenticated Underground Railroad site in Wisconsin open to visitors.
