What must it be like to live in Syria? I can’t imagine most Americans have any idea. Debora  Felmeth, author “Syria-Remember Me,” lived there for a very long time. She details the rich culture that was in the nation before ISIS took over, suggesting Syrians have been held hostage as a nation to the terrorists.

She says we have may countless misconceptions of the culture of Middle Eastern nations, such as Syria. But I did ask her about the way in which women are treated. And why the government has ‘allowed’ or at least at some level accepted the terrorists take over of their own country. It’s a revealing conversation.
