Former Attorney General Eric Holder tweeted on Wednesday, “Abolish the Electoral College. Have the direct vote of the people choose the President. To ensure national support – if one candidate doesn’t get 50% of the vote have a runoff 4 weeks after the election between the top two vote recipients. More fair. Better for true democracy.”
