A group of six multi-ethnic elementary school students running outside the school building, carrying backpacks, and wearing face masks. They are back to school during the covid-19 pandemic. The boys and girls are 7 to 10 years old.

Dr. Tom DeStefani, pediatrician at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, joins Anna to talk about masking guidelines as kids are set to return to school, why some school districts might have different masking guidance, and when we might see children under 12 able to get vaccinated.
