Tejas Shastry of the innovative charging application AMPY joins host, Frank Fontana live in Studio!

Invented by 3 local entrepreneurs out of Northwestern Phd candidates.  AMPY (http://www.getampy.com/) is a wearable device that captures the energy from everyday motion and turns it into power for smartphones and any other USB-powered device (smartphone, fitbit, etc.).  Essentially you will never need to plug your phone in the wall to charge it again.  The guys crushed their $100k goal on Kickstarter in under 72 hours.   Not only are they taking the charging world by storm – the 3 founders (Tejas Shastry, Alex Smith and Mike Geier) just made Forbes’ 30 under 30 list.

You can pre-order AMPY at getampy.com.
