Alex Aaron Kania, a Navy officer candidate and native of Rosemont, joins Dean Richards (in for Steve Bertrand) on Chicago’s Afternon News with his mentor, junior high school science teacher and Gold Star Parent, Robert Stack. Alex hopes to complete the 13-week program at the Officer Candidate School in Rhode Island, IL and go on to a long career as a Naval Flight Officer.
