Dr. Aileen Marty, Infectious Disease Specialist and professor at Florida International University, joined Bob Sirott to discuss the possibility of updated CDC guidelines that would shorten the quarantine period from 2 weeks to 7-10 days and include a test to ensure a person is negative for COVID-19. Dr. Marty also explains the re-positive rate of COVID-19 and how it doesn’t mean they’re re-infected but the virus is in their system.
