Dr. Aileen Marty, Infectious Disease Specialist and Professor at Florida International University, joined Bob Sirott to talk about the latest health news. Dr. Marty informs everyone about the new COVID variant that was discovered in South Africa, dubbed, omicron. Dr. Marty elaborates on the potential effects of the new variant and if the vaccines will be useful against it.
