Gasoline station attendants checks gas price and pumps gasoline in Chicago, on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012. Gasoline prices nationwide have drifted up a few cents over the past week, but prices in the Chicago area have spiked 24 cents per gallon. That’s due in part to a ruptured pipeline that spilled 1,000 barrels of crude oil onto a Wisconsin field before shutting down and cutting off a key supply of oil to the region. (AP Photo/Nam Y. Huh)

Colonial Pipeline finally launched the restart of its operations following a six-day shutdown. Patrick De Haan, Head Petroleum Analyst at GasBuddy, joined Bob Sirott to talk about the latest gas prices in Illinois and what’s to come leading to Memorial Day weekend.
