A 49-year-old Chicagoan who tested positive for COVID-19 spoke with Bob Sirott about what it’s like to be infected with coronavirus. He explains how his symptoms escalated within 24 hours and how he was able to maintain a positive attitude throughout his isolation period in the hospital.

Covid-19 can be a severe illness, even deadly, but it varies from person to person. Bob didn’t have any pre-existing health issues.
