Shermann Thomas is known on TikTok as Dilla The Urban Historian, or the Chicago history guy. He joined Chicago’s Afternoon News with Lisa Dent and Steve Bertrand to talk about his new series and to explain how Black History is also Chicago history. Thomas also talks about people in Chicago who are making history right now, and how some Black citizens have made a national influence.
