Tom Weinberg joins Rick Kogan to talk about Media Burn’s 10th anniversary. Founded by Weinberg in 2003, Media Burn is a website dedicated to providing access to the work of independent video producers and hosting the Media Burn archive, which contains more than 6,000 videotapes created by a geographically, socially, and economically diverse community of videographers. The archive’s central focus is its collection of Chicago-based independent video, which portrays life in Chicago from 1969-2012.
