Longtime Chicago folk musician and humorist Larry Rand talks with Rick Kogan about finding folk music after becoming disenchanted with the local media scene, his awe at watching the likes of Steve Goodman and John Prine, his approach to writing about music, and Rahm Emanuel as musical fodder.
