CB Jalen Ramsey, Florida State
Age: 21
Height: 6-1
Weight: 209

College Career: A three-year starter at Florida State, Ramsey was a top recruit out of high school and played right away. Saw time at both cornerback and safety with the Seminoles and was good where they lined him up. Only three interceptions in his college career and zero in 2015.

Strengths: Outstanding height and length to play press-man coverage the NFL level. Phenomenal athlete who was also an ACC champion long jumper. Runs fast and changes direction quickly, allowing him to mirror top wide receivers. Has gotten stronger since the 2015 season ended.

Weaknesses:  Not always aggressive in run support. Gets his hands on a lot of balls, but lack of interceptions is concerning.

Bears Outlook: Ramsey is easily the top corner in this draft and while there’s a chance he slips out of the top five, it’s doubtful he reaches the Bears at No. 11. If for some reason he did, the Bears would have to take him.
