Dave Hoekstra visits with bluesman and educator Fernando Jones and student/bassist Donovan Lawnicki, of Blues Kids of America, Jones’ non-profit dedicated to promote and preserve the blues among the country’s youth.  They talk about the upcoming Blues Camp Chicago, a week long, multi-venue learning experience for young musicians; Donovan recalls his entrance to the blues as a kid; Fernando explains the importance of blues and music education as part of academia, and more.
