This week marks the 100th Anniversary of the Chicago Flag. The stars symbolize historical events, and the points of the stars represent important historic events including the Fort Dearborn, the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893, and the Century of Progress Exposition of 1933–34.  You can celebrate the flag this Tuesday, April 4th to toast the 100th anniversary of this great Chicago symbol at the Chicago History Museum with special events.
