The first debate is in the books but will it change anybody’s mind? That’s one of the questions we’ll discuss today on the Sunday Spin.

But first, we’ll hit matters that are closer to home.

For our first guest, we have Chicago tribune reporter Bill Ruthhart. We’ll discuss the latest at City Hall and what a potential school strike means for Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Then, Rob Karr, the president and CEO of the Illinois Retail Merchants Association stops by. He’ll talk about his efforts to unite the small business community around and what his group believes are policies in the city that have hurt the business climate.

And for our last guest, Chris Mooney, the director of the Institute of Government and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois chimes in. We’ll get his take on the first presidential debate and what we’re likely to see ahead.
