Welcome everybody to Down and Distance, where two dads talk sports, music, life and parenting. Jarrett Payton and Shaun Davis discuss the biggest issues and interview the best and brightest.

Jarrett and Shaun review the Chicago Bears abysmal performance in preseason game one, and talk about the long term impact of a performance like that.  They also discuss the attitude and feistiness that the Chicago Bears are exhibiting in their practices versus the New England Patriots this week.  Lastly, the guys differentiate between a championship franchise who has successfully transitioned its foundation from defense to offense, and a franchise that’s trying to re-establish a foundation for long term winning.
