Former Cubs phenom Mark Prior joins Mark Carman for a conversation about his recent piece in Sports Illustrated, in which he reflects on his career and all-too-brief time at the top.

He talks about not holding on to regrets about the way his career ended, not blaming Dusty Baker for his usage in 2003 and his perspective on the events that unfolded in the ’03 NLCS, the fun and pressure of playing high stakes baseball in Chicago, Sammy Sosa’s place in Cubs history, and staying active in the game via his current gig as the Minor League Pitching Coordinator for the Padres.
