Welcome everybody to Down and Distance, where two dads talk sports, music, life and parenting. Jarrett Payton and Shaun Davis discuss the biggest issues and interview the best and brightest.

The NFL season is upon us as the Chicago Bears will soon converge on Bourbonnais next Wednesday for the beginning of training camp.  In Part 1, Jarrett and Shaun were joined by John “Moon” Mullin, as they broke down the offensive storylines and expectations for the Bears’ young unproven talent like Jeremy Langford and Kevin White.

Part 2 jumps right into the troublesome issues confronting John Fox and his staff going into training camp next week.

The guys discuss the added defensive talent via free agency and the NFL draft.  John Mullin discusses what plans the Bears have in store for first round pick Leonard Floyd.  What’s the outlook on the defensive backfield?  Jarrett and Moon believe the emergence of a stout front seven will make them look a lot better.  In the end, how will Vic Fangio’s defense evolve with some new toys at his disposal?

We always convert on Down and Distance!
