Former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn joins Justin in-studio to discuss a new initiative called Take Charge Chicago which aims to put term limits on the mayor’s office. Former Governor Quinn talks about grass roots democracy, voters being able to vote on issues as well as candidates, the power of citizen petition and referendum, the need for a strong, independent voice for consumers and how the people can have a bigger voice in government. Governor Quinn and Justin also chat about Speaker Madigan, the budget impasse and the current gridlock in Springfield.
