The brilliant artist and musician Jon Langford joins Justin to discuss his great career, what attracts him to country music, how country music has changed over the years, going to down to Muscle Shoals, how he got involved in the alt-country scene in Chicago, helping to nurture and develop younger artists, the connection and similarities between rock music and country music, tomorrow’s show at Ribfest and the most recent Waco Brothers record, “Going Down in History.” Joining Jon in-studio is the amazing vocalist Bethany Thomas and she and Jon sing a couple of new songs including, “Thought He Was Dead,” and Jon also sings a  Waco Brothers classic, “Walking on Hell’s Roof Looking at the Flowers.”
