John Davies and Brian Kallies joins Justin to talk about their wonderful new WTTW documentary called, “Heroes on Deck: World War II on Lake Michigan,” which tells the story of a secret training mission that took place on makeshift aircraft carriers on the lake in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and the ongoing recovery efforts being made to raise lost warplanes from the mission from the bottom of the lake.
