The Nocturnal Journey takes Dave Hoekstra out near Richard Nixon country, in Whitter, CA where he visits Oceanic Arts, an exporter, wholesaler, and maker of handcrafted tiki-themed art.  Oceanic has provided tikis, lighting, fencing and all types of tropical decor since 1956.

Co-founders LeRoy Schmaltz and Bob Van Oosting talk about how they got started with carving tikis, providing authentic pieces for places like Disneyland and clients like the Rolling Stones, picking up influences from traveling to places like Dutch New Guinea and more.

Dave has pictures and more from Oceanic on his website.
