Nuccio DiNuzzo / Chicago Tribune Bulls vice president of basketball operations John Paxson and general manger Gar Forman speak with reporters following the team's last game of the season on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the United Center.

Welcome everybody to Down and Distance, where two dads talk sports, music, life and parenting. Jarrett Payton and Shaun Davis discuss the biggest issues and interview the best and brightest.

After a disappointing 42-20 season, the Chicago Bulls streak of 7 playoff appearances and title dreams have turned into deceit, dissension and disarray.  John Paxson and Gar Forman met with the media after the final game of the season on Wednesday, while Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf released a statement conveying similar sentiments. Reinsdorf released a statement backing his management team and thanking fans for sticking with a team that “fell far short of our expectations.” Reinsdorf vowed to be “strategic and aggressive” in improving the team, promising the “resources needed.”

Shaun Davis is joined by Camron Smith (CBS 2 Chicago), Terrence Tomlin (The Bigs) and Eugene McIntosh to detail how things crumbled in this organization beginning with the firing of Tom Thibodeau.  Hoop Magazine’s Bryan Crawford joined the conversation to share his thoughts and pay homage to Kobe Bryant.
