Happy Valentine’s Day from the Sunday Spin!  We’ve got another full two hours of great programming for you. First, we’ll take our weekly spin through the week in national politics, including new ads as the presidential candidates look at South Carolina. After that,  Martha Jo Black, author of “Joe Black: More Than A Dodger” will joins us to talk about this touching biography from a daughter to her father and carries special meaning for Black History Month. Then, Tribune reporter John Byrne joins the show. John is part of the Tribune’s political team and we’ll recap last week’s City Council meeting and whether Mayor Rahm Emanuel has lost some of his influence amid those recent Tribune polling numbers. Last but not least, Christopher Mooney joins the show. Chris is the director of the Institute of Government and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois and we’ll be talking about President Barack Obama’s visit to Springfield as well as how the presidential race is shaping up.
