We’ve got another great show coming up on Sunday as we get your week started. First, we kick off the show with our weekly spin through national politics, which includes bookended by the president’s State of the Union address and the Republican presidential debate. Then, Assistant Professor in the School of Public Service at DePaul University and a member of the University of Illinois’ Institute of Government and Public Affairs, Martin Luby joins the show. We’ll talk about the state’s recent bond sale–and why it cost us millions more than it should have. After that, Rob Karr, President and CEO of the Illinois Retail Merchants Association, discusses some recent moves by City Hall that aren’t making retailers very happy. Last but not least,  Illinois Senate Republican leader Christine Radogno of Lemont will be on. We’ll talk about the latest in the Springfield impasse, including the governor’s call for an impasse in labor talks with AFSCME, as well as Chicago’s financial problems and more.
