This week on The Sunday Spin, we take our weekly spin through national politics, including Vice President Joe Biden’s decision not to run, Hillary Clinton’s appearance before Congress and Jeb Bush declaring a new TV heroine as “pretty hot.” After that, Democratic political strategist Tom Bowen joins the show to explain his opposition to a proposed state constitutional amendment aimed at curbing political considerations in the drawing of legislative district boundaries. Following up, Tribune City Hall reporter John Byrne will talk about the lay of the land in advance of the City Council’s scheduled vote on Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s budget and property tax increase. Then closing out our big show, former political strategist Michael Golden, author of “Unlock Congress,” comes in to discuss his ideas on how to get Washington working again.
