We had a packed show to send us off into a packed weekend, highlighted by Orion checking in after his open heart surgery. He’s doing great! ABC’s Tom Rivers updated us on the refugee crisis, Vince Pellegrino updated us on the BMW Championship, and we featured Lou Manfredini’s “First Call.” Northwestern Football Head Coach Pat Fitzgerald previewed the Wildcats vs. Duke (go Cats!) and he was followed by Chicago Blackhawks Head Coach Joel Quenneville. Dan Hampton previewed this weekend’s game for the Chicago Bears, and Dean Richards gave us the latest from the world of entertainment. ABC’s Aaron Katersky looked ahead to the Pope’s visit to Cuba as well as America, and Larry Thomas aka The Soup Nazi told us what his life is like now, and whether or not he likes soup.
