A special ceremony remembering those who died aboard the S.S. Eastland on the Chicago River was held Friday afternoon at the site of the tragedy near LaSalle and Wacker. WGN Radio’s Dave Schwan has a look back at the tragedy that took place exactly 100 years ago and the events honoring the victims a century later.
