Today on the Wintrust Business Lunch, Steve Bertrand talks to Rex Nutting of MarketWatch about stock buy-backs and other goings-on in corporate America. Then he’s joined by Philippe Weiss, managing director of Seyfarth Shaw at Work, to talk about lawsuits that that companies often face after workplace parties, especially surrounding Cinco de Mayo. Later, Steve plays a portion of his recent interview with author Erik Larson (Devil in the White City) about his new book, Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania. Then he’s joined by Father David Simonetti, who recently made headlines by announcing plans to open a non-profit college-prep school in Chicago Heights. Finally, he talks with Glenn Hopper, co-founder of the Rabble TV app.
