As Chicago’s Catholics prepare for the installation of Blase Cupich as the ninth Archbishop of Chicago, we open the WGN Radio archives to September, 2005, when Francis Cardinal George, the eighth Archbishop of Chicago, visited with Milt Rosenberg. They talked about the standing of the Catholic Church, the legacy of Pope John Paul II, and the future of Catholicism.

Visit Milt Rosenberg’s Extension 720 section for more audio including Milt’s 1979 interview with Jane Byrne and new interviews added regularly.
