Bill’s links to Chicago stretch back to 1851 when his great, great, grandfather Col. Nicholas P. Iglehart, a personal friend of Abraham Lincoln, moved to Chicago and began to invest in real estate. He settled in what would be Evanston. Oakley Avenue was originally Iglehart Avenue. Holmes Hoge, another relative, fought at the siege of Vicksburg and later became a Vice President at The First National Bank of Chicago.
When he’s not talking with you on WGN, Bill is President of Bill Moller Communications, LLC. He helps executives, sales and project management teams, anyone really, develop confidence and a strong professional presence so they can leave positive and lasting impressions and better sell themselves, their ideas and their businesses.
He was also anchor, talk show and business show host at CLTV from its launch in 1993 until February 2006. For his writing, reporting and anchoring he has won three Emmys, two Peter Lisagor Awards for Exemplary Journalism from the Society of Professional Journalists, and two first place Associated Press awards among others.
